Steinberg Halion 6 Sampler Presets and Patches

A great versatile sampler

Halion 6 is Steinberg's sampler that is designed to compete with Native Instruments Kontakt sampler and other high-end professional samplers.

It might not be as popular as Kontakt but more libraries are coming out these days.

• Virtual analog, granular and wavetable synthesis
• Good LUA based Scripting
• Clever arpeggiator design (FlexPhraser)
• Good time stretching (AudioWarp)
• Lots of good effects
• It has a scripting language as Kontakt has
• 3. party developer-friendly

Cons

• Old outdated factory presets
• The interface is a bit old
• No FM synthesis
